Refine-specific bonus!

I’ve been inactive lately.. Here’s a comeback post 😀

Ever played Flyff? Armors in Flyff gain additional bonus depending on their refine level(check this link). I was thinking about doing this for a long time now, until this guy requested it in my request-a-mod page.

I’ve finished it now and I’m selling it for a low price of $15.

Syntax is:

<Type>,<Refine>,{<Script>}

Type:

0 – Armors
1 – Level 1 weapons
2 – Level 2 weapons
3 – Level 3 weapons
4 – Level 4 weapons

e.g.

0,10,{ bonus bVit, 10; } // all +10 armors get 10 bonus vit

Taekwon Mission (iRO mode or?)

As I’ve seen from iRO:

If your target is Goblin, any monster called “Goblin” will count toward the mission (All 5 “Goblin”s will count, but not Goblin Steamrider).

Many players from various servers running *athena forks get problems with their Taekwon. The problem arises when their Taekwon Mission target is a mob whose name is having multiple occurrences  in the mob database(Goblin, Kobold, Dimik,Venatu,etc). This mod gives you the option to make it work like iRO(Goblin only), or apply it to all mobs with the same name.

[mini-guide] Use your ragnarok database for IPB login

This is a “no-secret” tip, it has been sitting in your IPB’s admin cp all this time(ipb3xx).

Some more tips..

1. Disable forum registrations so that the only way to register is via your server’s registration.(There a setting to redirect IPB’s registration link to your CP’s registration page)

2.  Use IPB’s built in merge account feature to merge your users’ existing account to the new account.

3. Disable IPB’s internal login. Using two databases would be messy, really messy don’t even try!

Dummy Mobs

I once played Cabal PH, and one thing I can remember about that game is that it provided dummies to test your skills. So, I tried to make it in RO and had a success.

It can also be applied to GM accounts, so that you don’t have to do @battleignore every time. It shows that you receive damage (but not actually). 😀

Premium System

I’m planning to make my own premium system. I’m having difficulties though, I’m not a player nor a server owner that’s why I need every opinion I can get for me to be able to start with it. Last time I played was 2006~2007 in DarkRO. But that’s it.

 

As a player/server owner, what features of a premium/VIP system are you looking forward to? 

 

Note: This would be a work in progress and would take a few days as I’ll only be working on it during my lame time.

New card restriction mode

I’ve made a new mod! As a player, It is annoying when you enter a map, and one of your cards is restricted from that map. The result is that your item gets unequipped.

The good news is…You don’t have to forcefully un-equip those anymore. We can simply turn their card effects off. An added bonus is that you can turn it on or off in the config.

// Allow to equip items with compunded cards
// that are restricted from that map
// 0: Disable
// 1: Enable
// 2: Enable w/ message. (– The card ‘%s’ will not have any effect on this map. (%s) –)
